Corp Femi said it is not only through sex that people contract HIV/AIDS but also through the use of unsterilized sharp instruments like needles, blades and even the use of the general barber’s clipper. He also said that only prayer can save one from contracting the disease because even one’s fiancé or fiancée many be carrying the disease without the knowledge of the other.
Corp  kingsley (CLO) also corroborated corp Femi’s point by saying HIV/AIDS are in two stages - Early Stage and Advanced stage. He said through research, the early stage of the disease is always unnoticeable and which may be unknown to someone engaged to the infected person. He said the Advanced stage is the AIDS which manifests when one’s immune system to disease has been totally defeated.

The discussion session that was suspended the previous week came alive again as the CDS Coordinator called on the following discussants to the floor:
·         Corp Stephen
·         Corp Okoro
·         Corp Taiwo Bankole
The discussion started with Corp Taiwo Bankole who said the NYSC scheme should be restructured in its posting policy; she called for postings around one’s region or state of residence. This Opinion was countered by Corp Stephen who said if the scheme was restructured in its posting policy won’t achieve the NYSC aims and objectives of fostering National Unity.
In support of Corp Stephen’s contribution, Corp Okoro said the NYSC scheme should be sustained due to the newly increased Monthly Allowance package and also said it would be more appealing if corp members could be posted to organizations where their discipline would be relevant.
The LGI said the discussion session was informative and educative.
Mr lasaki jokingly said, that if the NYSC is scrapped, it won’t have effect on him because he has an edge of experience over us but would have a direct pressure on the labour market as more people would be thrown back to it.
He said if given the opportunity, he would to restructure the scheme by empowering graduates with special skills and give them capital to make investment or set up their firms, become self reliant and even employ people, thereby reducing cases of unemployment.
